Hip Charts provides access to NOAA ENC nautical charts on your device at no cost. The NOAA charts are automatically displayed as you navigate the map and are downloadable over WiFi or cellular data connections.

Free Features:

Unrestricted viewing of NOAA charts through WiFi or cell connection at no charge.
Download of one chart area for offline use.

Premium Features:

Option to download multiple offline chart areas.
Customizable boundaries for downloaded areas.

Upcoming Features:

An included anchor alarm feature.
Route planning functionalities available as a paid upgrade.

Please note that this application does not meet the chart carriage requirements for regulated commercial vessels as stipulated in Titles 33 and 44 of the Code of Federal Regulations.
